| Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. is in the process of making Document Direct access available to our clearing member firms for access to Infopac reports. Using a web browser, Document Direct enables firms to view, print or download most CME reports from Infopac, (including Clearing, ATOM and GAINS). Users can also save reports accessed from Infopac via Document Direct as a Zip File, which will provide the ability to forward reports to others via e-mail or FTP. Phased Implementation Initially, access will be limited to those firms that currently have access to the CME network via a dedicated CLEARING 21 workstation. In the future, we expect to expand firm access to any web browser from any PC, with the proper security access, of course! Firm staff will be able to log in from home on a Saturday to check their Exercises and Assignments or review overnight margin calls while traveling on business via their laptops. At the present time, firms that access C21 via CITRIX (dial-up or the FIN), will not be able to access Document Direct via CITRIX. However, we will inform all firms when it become available. Setup A Client Management representative will be contacting each back-office manager, in the near future, to set up a date and time to setup Document Direct on your Clearing 21 workstation. We will be adding access to Document Direct on 5-10 workstations each week, until all of them have access. At the time of installation, training sessions will be given in the firm office and documentation will also be provided. Thereafter we will announce the date when access can be made from a PC or web browser. If you have any questions or comments, please call Mahmoud Ajamia, Client Management, at (312) 634-1595 or send an email to cm@cme.com. Thank You! |
